Who would’ve thought ice would be such a fun and enticing activity for kids? During the hot summer months, we fill up different sized plastic storage containers with water, drop toys inside and freeze them. On a hot day, we pull the ice cubes out and watch them melt outdoors. The kids get so excited, they start bashing them into the ground because they can’t wait to see what toys come out! We’ll even float them in a tub of water and see how long it takes for them to melt.
