This is the most convenient amusement park we’ve ever been to. Everything about our stay was no-hassle and easy – just how mama likes it. We’d also like to thank the team at Legoland CA for sending a few complimentary tickets for our kids! Located right at the main entrance to the Park, a stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel will turn a day you’ll always remember into a night you’ll never forget! As a Hotel guest, you are just steps away from the ultimate family theme Park with over 60 rides, shows and attractions. As a special privilege to LEGOLAND Hotel guests, they offer entry to select rides and attractions before the Park opens to the public. For Park entrance, each Hotel guest (ages 3 and older) must have a valid Park admission ticket and active room key card. Early entry time varies by season.
Lobby is so fun and interactive!
Just the hotel alone was entertaining enough for my kids. You could spend a day or two just enjoying the wonders and activities of the hotel without even going into Legoland Resort. Be sure to plan an extra day enjoying this well-thought-out and truly whimsical hotel experience. Ideally you’d stay two nights – one day just exploring and playing in the hotel and swimming, then the next at Legoland Resort. My kids were 8 & 9, the perfect age. But I’d say once your kiddo hits 11 years old, you may have to retire your Legoland excursions. It’s built for young kids and I noticed that kids between the ages of 3 – 10 are the most ideal to appreciate all the hard work and creativity of this spectacular resort.

Why you need a whole day JUST AT THE HOTEL
Families can enjoy interactive LEGO features throughout the Hotel, including the Castle Play Area located in the Main Lobby. Pull the lever by the big green Ogre and see the grown-ups jump! You can’t come to LEGOLAND and stay in the Hotel without playing with some LEGO bricks, so they’ve put a bucket in your room and a big pit of it in the lobby for you to enjoy. There is a building competition held daily for the best model. They invite you to come cool off and relax or splash around and play in the pool area. The resort-style pool is heated year round, and with a zero entry up to 5’ depth, soft LEGO brick to play with, and lifeguard on duty…it’s perfect for the entire family. Pool-side food and beverage service is available. Daily Swim-In Movies at 8:30pm (seasonal and select days) pool side cabanas are available for rental.
Most Whimsical Themed Rooms Ever!
These rooms are laid out really well! I wish all family hotels had this layout! I thought we needed a suite, but the way they are arranged lets your little one’s room stay dark while you keep your lights on! You can choose from one of three popular LEGO lines rooms – Pirate, Kingdom or Adventure. Rooms include two separate sleeping areas, with a king-size bed for grown-ups, and a separate area for up to three little ones, complete with a bunk bed, pull-out trundle bed and their very own TV! The rooms are very comfortable and the staff will quickly and happily bring you more toiletries, childcare products, and basic medical supplies if need be. Bathrooms are well thought-out, they have different potty seat sizes for all sized kids!
Stellar Customer Service who Love Kids!
No matter what we needed, the staff was able to retrieve it very promptly. Moms appreciate speed and convenience! Room service is quick as well. We forgot toothpaste and they were up in no time and with a joyous attitude! I noticed staff running up and down the halls with extra blankets and pillows for hotel guests. The hotel vibe is very comforting and emanates family happiness. The LEGOLAND Hotel offers a variety of services that are affordable and convenient including Concierge Desk, Valet Parking, Bell Hop and Luggage Service, Room Service, Laundry Service, Fitness Room, ATM on-site, six electric car charging stations and VIP toures. LEGO Shop has a wide selection of LEGO goodies to keep you going ‘til you hit The Big Shop at LEGOLAND California! In addition, they do stock a range of items to make your stay a little more pleasant.
Each time we entered the elevator a 70’s disco song would play while disco lights flashed – we’d dance the whole 20 seconds away! Even strangers would dance with us while riding up to their rooms! The entertainment is spectacular… we were so impressed with just how much there is to do in the Hotel! One can enjoy entertainment LEGOLAND style including Dining Character visits in Bricks Family Restaurant, Character Meet and Greets in the Hotel lobby, Daily Model Building Contest, Nightly Children’s Entertainment with Hero Training and Kids Improv Hour, plus seasonal Swim-In Movies. Dining is easy, fast and accommodating for everyone!
I love that all the dining and food areas are close to the interactive play structures and hotel activities. You can grab a latte or glass of Chardonnay in the lobby MINI café or in Skylline Cafe. Prices are very affordable! Jello for $1.00 was our fav! Also, with your stay, the Bricks Family Restaurant offers a Breakfast Buffet that is complimentary. Take advantage of discounted prices for Bricks Family Restaurant by purchasing a Buffet Dinner Package for 4 at the time of booking. Children 3 and under eat free. The dinner buffet provides an array of menu options to suit every taste including Mexican, Pasta, and Carving Station, Soups, Salad Bar, Desserts and a buffet just for kids.
